Hello,
I'm having some trouble running the trace element and U-Pb Geochronology data reduction schemes. I am using Plesovice as my primary zircon age standard and NIST612 as my primary trace element standard and am using a Zr90 concentration of 49.7 wtpc as the internal standard for my unknowns (zircon).
When I try to run the U-Pb DRS an error message pops up that says "A potentially unrecoverable error has occurred. How would you like to proceed?" when I click show details or go to messages "Mat: : max (): object has no elements" comes up and I get the message "Could not find cannels to register associated results for U-Pb DRS".
When attempting to run the Trace Elements DRS the DRS ends with the error messages:
"There was an error in getting the concentrations of the IS or element of interest from the Ref Mat G_NIST612",
"The Trace Elements DRS ended with the following error message: index_min(): object has no elements"
and "Ignored uncaught exception: Mat::max(): object has no elements".
Because I clicked ignore there are intermediate and output channels from the trace element DRS and intermediate channels from the U-Pb DRS without any values.
I'm guessing there might be something wrong with were the files for the Reference materials are, but when I look at the reference materials in sections tab of the Data window it has the correct internal value and when I look at the Reference Materials tab there are the correct values and units for all of the standards.
Just a side not incase this affects anything, I was having issues with the secondary reference material's not showing up when doing QA/QC (because there was a bug that has now been fixed) so I installed a later version of iolite. Since the bug was patched I updated my iolite and was having issues with duplicate file paths when uploading my data. To solve this I deleted every version of iolite on my computer and downloaded the latest version and selected restore defaults in the paths section of preferences, which enabled me to upload my data.
Do you have any idea of what might be wrong or suggestions on how to fix it?
Thanks,
Taylor
