Hi Joe, I'm curious about the new RefMatUncertInc radio button in the export window. I don't recall seeing this in previous versions of Iolite 4 but I also don't see any mention of it in the note for the latest update. Can you explain how this value is calculated? Thanks!

Hi Andrew,

The RefMatUncertInc option has been there since around v4.1. It adds the uncertainty of the reference material to the uncertainty for that channel in quadrature. If propagated uncertainties have been calculated for the channel/selection, it will use those. Otherwise, it will use the normal uncertainty.
