How to handle negative values and below LODs in your data set

Hi all,

When you're doing statistical analyses on your data, how do you handle negative values or values below LODs? Do you treat them as 0's, or treat them as NA's and exclude them from analysis? I've gotten mixed responses from colleagues so I wanted to see what others thought from a larger community.
