  • De-authorizing a device to re-use a license

I have an educational license for Iolite and have the software installed on two computers currently (the max number of devices so far as I know). I am going to replace one of these devices shortly and would like to deactivate Iolite on that device so that I can use the license key on a new device. How would I go about that?

Hi @amzipkin ,

You can de-activate a licence by going to iolite's Preferences -> Licence and clicking the Deactivate Licence key (see below). This will deregister the copy of iolite on this computer, and free up an install so that you can install iolite on another computer.
