I am outputting all integrations from a trace element analysis on aragonite with ppm as the output and Ca as the internal standard. The resulting output files have columns for; ElapsedTime_s, TotalBeam, a column of counts for each element, Ca43_CPS (I believe this is the blank corrected value), then IntStdWv, and a column of ppm for each element.
Starting with the IntStdWv column and continuing through each ppm column each sample has a different number of NA values at the start and end of the integrations. The rows of data are only missing from the IntStdWv and ppm rows, not the raw counts from the machine. Both the analyte and the internal standard are far above LOD during these missing sections of data based on the counts columns. The number of missing rows varies from 3 to more than 20 rows of missing data. Why would this happen?
