In analytical sessions where the 207Pb/206Pb fractionation is noticeable, i think the strategy for the data reduction should be:
- Determine a 207Pb/206Pb normalization factor from a homogeneous reference material, like NIST610
- Apply the 207Pb/206Pb normalization factor to the standard (which has varying amount of Pbc) offline
- Import the modified standard data and unknowns into Iolite
- Let UcomPbine do the 207-correction, downhole correction, and Pb/U normalization
- Exported data shall have to be multiplied by the 207Pb/206Pb normalization factor before pulling a disconcordia line
Is there a modified UcomPbine DRS does that? 🙂
