Hello everyone,
Iām still new to analytical chemistry, so I apologize in advance if my question is off the mark.
Currently, I am performing LA-ICP-MS imaging on a biological sample.
The final output I would like to obtain is a map showing the Sr/Ca ratio expressed in mmol/mol.
I have managed to produce the image itself, but I am not sure how to display the Sr/Ca ratio in mmol/mol in the imaging data.
At the moment, I am using the intermediate Sr88/Ca43_CPS ratio, but if there is a simpler way to calculate (or convert to) mmol/mol, I would really appreciate your advice.
For calibration, I am using NIST 612, and the analytical sequence is: standard ā imaging sample ā standard.
Thank you in advance for your help.
