Hello everyone on the Iolite forum,I encountered a similar problem to Mr./Ms. Estida.
During my trace element analysis, there seems to be data compatibility when using the data of standard samples and unknown sanples using Iolite software? resulting in data faliure to porcess.
The issue is as follows:
After importing all the CSV data, the standard samples could be matched with the correct names and elemental signal channels, but the unknown samples could not be matched with the correct names, and an Agilent identifier was added after the elemental signal channel.
Furthermore, when importing standard sample CSV data or unknown sample data separately., the elementalsignals can be correctly identified in both cases. That is why I say they seem to be in conflict with each other.
Incidentally, when importing data for unknown samples individually, their names are also not recognized correctly.
Im not sure what went wrong. My tests were conducted on the same day, and the Agilent 8900ICP-MS instrument did not experience any downtime or malfunctions during the testing process.
My unknown sample names contain the "@" character. Could this be causing the names to be unrecognized? But why is the data being separated? into two types:one normal and one with a suffix?
English is not my native language, so please excuse any awkward phrasing.
Thank you inadvance.
I tried uploading the image, but Im not sure if its visible.
