Cellspace not lining up?

Hello,

I'm trying to do imaging on my 193nm laser ablation. However, after I import, process, then select "cellspace" as my type, things aren't lining up correctly. I'm going to include a couple of pictures, but you'll be able to see that there are gaps between each pixel and they're offset from one another. I'm importing the information from my ICP-MS and the activeview2 log file. Things almost want to lineup but they're all shifted.

Any help would be appreciated!

The effect you're seeing here is due to scanning the laser too fast over the sample. The mass spec measurements are then too far apart given the spot size.

There are tools to help calculate the spot size, scan rate, and optimise the mass spec measurements. If you send an email to the iolite support, we can send you links to those tools.

In the meantime, you can ameliorate some the effect in your images by using the "replace null" filter, as described here: https://notes.iolite.xyz/posts/nullfilter/
