Starting issue

Dear Iolite users,
we are using Iolite 4 in Windows 10. Unfortunately, Iolite 4 doesn't start anymore and we couldn't find a way to solve this problem. We restarted the PC several times and we also uninstalled and reinstalled Iolite 4, which also didn't help.

Does anyone of you has an idea how we could solve this issue?. Please let me know, if you need more information about the software or the Windows version we use.

Hi Manuel,

There is an issue if you've updated from a very early version of iolite (earlier than v4.0.9) to a newer version.

The way around this is very simple: just hold down the Shift key when iolite starts. It will show a small window asking if you want to reset your settings. Click Yes, and your settings will be reset and you should then be able to start iolite normally.
