Trace Element DRS

Hello,
I am running NIST 612 as my primary standard for trace elements. My issue is with running the trace element DRS. When I run the DRS I get an error message that says, "There was an error in getting the concentrations of the IS or element of interest from the Ref Mat G_NIST612." Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Which element have you selected as your internal standard?

I don't have an internal standard selected. I have run trace elements on other data sets with no internal standard set but maybe that is the issue?

Can you check which version of iolite you're using? Can you please also verify that you have not left the "Use Internal Standards" checked at the top of that section?

The version is 4.5.1 and the box on the top of that section "Use Internal Standards" is unchecked.

Thanks for sending your session. Am I correct in thinking that you're referring to the message in the messages view rather than a popup telling you that the DRS failed? I think what may have happened is that an external standard was set for TotalBeam which has no element associated with it. If that is the case, it is safe to ignore. I can see how this is confusing and will make some changes to clear it up.
