I recently switched from Iolite 3 to Iolite 4 and am still struggling with the import of internal standard values. So far I've only reduced short laser runs where I was able to type in the internal standard values. However, I also want to use Iolite 4 for long runs where this isn't feasible and this is where my problem started.
When I imported the internal standard element table I created it assumed the element to be in wtpc when they are actually in wtpc oxide. When I switch the units Iolite then automatically wrongly recalculated the values. When I try to re-import the internal standard file Iolite automatically switches the unit back to wtpc and the problem starts again.
In the Trace element turial I found this information "By default the units will be set to wt %, but if you have used different units, you can set them now using the Units button" but this seems to be not working for me.
Can someone help me how I can import wt% oxide data into the Trace Element DRS?
Connected to that how can I make Iolite forget what IS values I have imported, in case they are wrong or something else isn't as it should be with them?
