After I process the U-Pb Geochronology DRS, when I utilize the QA/QC, it indicates that "This QA/QC module has NOT passed." Why?

Which QAQC module are you running? Assuming it is the Concordia age module, this will report the module has failed if the mean age for the secondary reference material is more than 5% from the accepted age (stored in the RM file). You can adjust the offset from the accepted age in the settings.

You can also set which secondary RM is examined in the settings for the QAQC module.

Bence But I didn't use secondary reference material. I used Iolite to process zircon data. I opened my data with my friend's iolite, while he can run the same operations and calculate ages, mine doesn't work. I'm not sure why.

@127 Does the QAQC module report a measured age and uncertainty?

Bence Yes. Sometimes it shows "passed", but sometimes it shows "NOT passed". So I wonder if it really influences the results.

The QAQC results never impact the results calculated by the DRS. However, QAQC results can stop Processing Template execution.
