Unable to calculate concordia or discordia age in VizualAge

It is unable to calculate either the concordia age or the discordia age, regardless of whether the data points plot on the concordia curve or not. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling iolite 4, but the issue persists. Has anyone seen this before, or is there something I might be missing in the settings or data processing workflow?

Hi @Lynn_Li ,

It's likely that iolite can no longer find your iolite_helpers.py file. If you check the python console (in iolite's Tool's menu) there may be error messages there pointing to this issue.

You can try fixing it by replacing the iolite_helpers.py file, following the instructions here:

If you're still getting errors, it's likely that your iolite folder (the one containing 3D_Trace_Elements.py and iolite_helpers.py) is somewhere that iolite cannot read from. For example, if you put your iolite folder in C:/Program Files (or anywhere other than your user folder) iolite will not be able to read from it.

This could be a setup issue or a data issue.
